I left in the middle of the last GEL conference session to catch a flight to Miami, but got to see a few more fascinating talks before I left. The man pictured above made a random decision to create one image of a skull every day for a year. Today, his “SkullADay” blog has thousands of followers. His talk was about how to go with your intuition when you have a random idea.
Other interesting topics from today: a magician’s necessity for empathy, Japanese Kamikaze fighter pilots, anthropology and how it relates to garbage, and food politics. So random, but so interesting. A highly recommended conference.
